Bring your characters from paper to life with code!

Classes are held Monday – Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Course Description:

This course will introduce children to fundamentals of visual programming and digital storytelling. In one week, children will learn how to create their own characters, build animated storylines and develop critical thinking skills by advancing their animation techniques. Students will get to programme their characters by controlling their speed, actions, and adding more of them into their coding projects.

By the end of the course, children will be able to build their own animations, develop various action sequences, and create clips. They will enhance their computational thinking as well as develop creative skills. They will be able to turn their drawn characters into computer animations and create their very own stories.

This is a highly creative course that will help children combine arts and coding. In one week, your child will learn more than most kids do during the whole school year.

Achievements and outcomes

Our teachers will actively record your child’s work throughout the camp and share it with you through Class Dojo – an app which allows you to see photos of your child’s work, be involved in your child’s progress and message the teachers directly if you have any questions. The children will also receive a certificate of completion on the final day. Upon finishing the course, children will get to bring their animations home.
