One of the things that I am really passionate about and which also inspired me to start teaching is building a ‘desire to create’. I am usually trying to move my students from the consumer paradigm, in which they just ‘play’ a game, to one in which they are eager to experiment and create their own experience. I am truly happy when I see a student finishing up a section or a block and already mentioning the next great improvement, while actually coding!

My passion for coding began as part of a competitive programming club when I was 15. Prior to this experience I am thankful to my parents for their search of games, riddles and mathematical questions that I could try to solve. I believe learning to approach problems is a vital skill which is preferable to knowing a certain framework or language, and that’s what I usually keep in mind as a teacher as well. I am trying to give each one of my students a diverse array of projects and experiences, which helps them build a good foundation.

Rescheduling lessons
If you need to reschedule a lesson for any reason, please give us at least 24 hours notice by either contacting your tutor or a member of our team at hello@blueshiftcoding.com and we will do our best to move the session for you.
If your child is feeling unwell, we might be able to reschedule your lesson up to 2 hours before the lesson is supposed to start for online tuition, and up to 4 hours before the lesson is due to start for in-person tuition.
Missing a lesson
Please be aware that if you miss a lesson for any reason and do not give us at least 24 hours notice we will take this as a no-show and charge you the full rate of this session without an opportunity to reschedule, as we must compensate our tutors for their time.
