Detailed information

A highly creative course that introduces students to the fundamentals of visual programming and digital storytelling. In one week, children go through the whole animation process from storyboarding to greenscreen.

They will learn how to create their own characters, build animated storylines and develop critical thinking skills by advancing their animation techniques.

Each day, campers get to take part in a new animation technique from creating captions, incorporating sound, sculpting claymation models, and recording their film with stop motion. With a little help from Scratch coding we bring their ideas to life, and at the end of camp, your child will have a fun and original recording to share with friends and family.

Your child will learn:

  • Creating 2D animations
  • Green screen animations
  • Video creation with sound, captions, and cuts
  • Programming with Scratch
  • Storyboard and idea development for frame-based animations
  • Action sequence development and engineering principles
