For students aged 10 to 14, this virtual class combines text-based programming, innovative digital art projects, and game design to teach real-world skills with JavaScript… all through self expression and individual creativity!

Using video conferencing software, our virtual classroom provides students with an innovative approach to coding that balances learning computational skills with nurturing students’ curiosity and sense of discovery.

With a maximum teacher:student ratio of 1:6, each of our online courses is the perfect opportunity to engage kids and grow their coding confidence! Once set-up within our virtual learning environment, every member of the class can share their screen and other materials with the teacher, creating a collaborative atmosphere and ensuring every student can receive immediate feedback on their work.

Javascript is the hidden language that makes the digital world more interesting; it makes your favourite websites interactive, enables online games to load swiftly and smoothly, and is a source of contemporary art.

In this course we introduce students to Javascript ‘libraries’, and demonstrate the awesome things you can do with these. From here students are given the freedom to interpret these Javascript libraries in their own way, as we set a number of different hands-on projects. These projects demonstrate the real-world applications of coding to students, as well as provide a sense of accomplishment... Whether it's creating a Graffiti drawing app, digital pen tools or their own version of ‘Paint’, students will come away with digital art creations to show off to their friends and family!  🚀

Our Intermediate Javascript class is ideal for any students who have a creative flair or an interest in gaming, as the focus on both of these industries gives plenty of opportunities for students to make and design tech associated with their hobby.

Your child will learn:

  • How Javascript is used across the web in a variety of different forms.
  • The Javascript syntax and code concepts needed to produce mesmerising art
  • How to create apps and games with Javascript libraries
  • Important computational thinking and logical reasoning skills
  • To apply creative problem-solving techniques to programming
  • How to express creativity and self-expression through coding
  • Computational concepts and features that are used within industry and further study

  • Can I book individual days?
  • I don’t want the teacher and the other children in the class to see my house, can I make the session more private?
  • Is adult presence required?
  • My child is a beginner, is this course still suitable?
  • “My daughter had a great time. Her teacher challenged and inspired her interest in coding and helped her produce lots of cool programmes each day.”
