Jack O, Senior Teacher
BA Fine Art, Kingston University
I have been teaching in different settings since graduating my BA. I’m really inspired by how creative children can be, and the imaginative ideas that they come up with when designing or making something. I like seeing a child take on the skills I’ve learnt and working with them to make their ideas come to life!

I first started coding when I was editing a portfolio website I had made to present my sculptural art practice. I use image and graphics in my work, so I had developed a good understanding of Photoshop and animation software, and these skills have allowed me to gain work in the film and TV industry. I also apply this knowledge to my own digital artworks. I think coding is an exciting outlet for creativity. It isn’t just limited to making websites or apps - there’s so many ways art can be made or things can be designed using code or digital software.

Missing a lesson
Please be aware that if you miss a lesson for any reason and do not give us at least 24 hours notice we will take this as a no-show and charge you the full rate of this session without an opportunity to reschedule, as we must compensate our tutors for their time.
Can I have tuition with more than one child at a time?Yes. Please be aware that with each child added to a session we increase the price by 0.5. For example, online tutoring with a 'Teacher' teaching our core curriculum would cost £50ph for one child and £75ph for two children. If you would like group tuition please either book a consultation, fill out an enquiry form or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How often can I have sessions? Our tutoring service is completely bespoke, so whether you would like one session a week or three, we'll match you with a tutor who is able to meet your needs.
Is my child the right age for tutoring? We tutor children aged 5-16 years old. Each lesson is specially adapted to your child so that our tutors are able to guide them through their journey from block-based to text-based coding as they mature and progress!
