I first started coding on Xcode as I wanted to make something that no one else had in the universe when I was 14. I made a calculator app and then one which had loads of farm animals you could interact with. They made weird funny noises when you touched them and then it said what animal it was - so they were educational focused! I’ve since gone on to have many projects, including ‘LUCA’ - which is a smart hydroponics system which self-regulates and sends updates to your phone when it needs to be taken care of. I enjoy teaching as I find it amazing to be able to have the ability and opportunity to inspire others and when I’m able to do this and see growth in my students, it's extremely rewarding. I am a big believer in the importance of code, seeing it as an essential part of the future and something that will hopefully help solve big problems like climate change.

Rescheduling lessons

If you need to reschedule a lesson for any reason, please give us at least 24 hours notice by either contacting your tutor or a member of our team at hello@blueshiftcoding.com and we will do our best to move the session for you.

If your child is feeling unwell, we might be able to reschedule your lesson up to 2 hours before the lesson is supposed to start for online tuition, and up to 4 hours before the lesson is due to start for in-person tuition.

Missing a lesson

Please be aware that if you miss a lesson for any reason and do not give us at least 24 hours notice we will take this as a no-show and charge you the full rate of this session without an opportunity to reschedule, as we must compensate our tutors for their time.
