Shubham, Teacher

Currently studying BSc Computer Science, University College London

I love explaining concepts and showing children the magic of coding. One of the most exciting things about coding is seeing your code be used in the real world – so I now find it really rewarding to help give that same experience to others by teaching them to build their own apps, websites or software all on their own!

I first started coding when I was around 8 years old when my older sister brought home web-design homework from school – the realization that anyone can make websites and software was mind-blowing and magical to me.

I’ve now made apps that are being used by people across the world! Being able to code means you are able to reach people you have never even met – that’s pretty incredible. I have a sound knowledge of the key web languages: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, in addition to Perl, Python, and also database technologies such as MySQL and SQLite. I have also developed native mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).

Rescheduling lessons

If you need to reschedule a lesson for any reason, please give us at least 24 hours notice by either contacting your tutor or a member of our team at hello@blueshiftcoding.com and we will do our best to move the session for you.

If your child is feeling unwell, we might be able to reschedule your lesson up to 2 hours before the lesson is supposed to start for online tuition, and up to 4 hours before the lesson is due to start for in-person tuition.

Missing a lesson

Please be aware that if you miss a lesson for any reason and do not give us at least 24 hours notice we will take this as a no-show and charge you the full rate of this session without an opportunity to reschedule, as we must compensate our tutors for their time.
