Halloween is just around the corner and, although we may not be able to celebrate ‘as normal’ this year, we’ve been getting into the spirit with our spooky Halloween code-along competition. We’ve loved looking through all the entries, and we’re feeling thoroughly spooked! Check out our favourites below… if you dare!

Winner

Cara, aged 8, impressed us with her Addams Family-themed project, complete with dancing skeletons, eerie ghosts and wicked witches! Cara even made her own haunted house background. Cara wins first place for her fantastic work, and takes home our awesome Tangiplay prize! Check out Cara’s project here (we challenge you to not dance along to the music!).

Runners up

We had so many fantastic entries to the competition that we couldn’t share just one! Here’s our runners up...

We loved that Reanna, aged 10, made her very own spooky monsters to appear from behind the door, including a beastly Frankenstein and a ghastly ghost! Reanna also made her own haunted house background, complete with cobwebs and pumpkins - we wouldn’t want to be knocking on this door on a dark night! Check out her project here.

Lakshman, aged 9, spooked us with his range of Halloween monsters hiding behind the door, from howling werewolves and growling Franken-monsters, to his own creation: a killer crab! Yikes! Check out his project here.
