Are you passionate about helping children express their creativity? Are you good with technology? We’re looking for individuals who want to empower the next generation of students with digital skills. You don’t need a computing background for this role; we’re looking for dedicated, well spoken individuals who know their way around basic graphics and coding applications and are great with children.

blue{shift} education is London’s premier coding educator; we’ve been teaching children a creative approach to coding and robotics since 2013. We run after school clubs at nearly 20 schools and run coding and robotics camps every holiday and half-term. Our ethos is to inspire children with the creative possibilities of code and show them all the things they can make using technology as a tool.

We are looking for enthusiastic and vibrant assistant and lead teachers. Our classes aimed at younger students cover robotics (using LEGO, Dashbots and Ozobots) and making art and games and using tools such as Scratch. We help to develop computational thinking by facilitating logical approaches to coding and robotics problems. We know that to engage our younger coders we need to engage their creative muscles.

  • Leading and assisting creative coding and robotics clubs and holiday camps for 5 to 7 year olds
  • Fostering a super energetic, positive and enjoyable atmosphere in class
  • Feeding back on our lesson plans and curricula
  • Attentively supervising children and leading play activities during break times
  • Assessing children’s progress

  • You have teaching experience with younger children
  • You love working with and entertaining young children

  • All training, materials and assignments
  • A fun and exciting job with a supportive team of coworkers
  • A great platform to strengthen classroom management, speaking and presentation skills
