Our partnership with Robo Wunderkind
Here at BlueShift, we encourage our students to get hands on with technology and use digital skills to take on creative projects, bringing their unique ideas to life, whether that’s through making a game, an animation, or a robot.
This summer, we partnered with Robo Wunderkind to bring their robot kits into our offering. Robo Wunderkind is a modular robotics kit and accompanying programming app. It's highly accessible - perfect for our young coders - meaning they’re perfect introductions into technology, engineering and invention, but they’re also endlessly creative.
Heather, BlueShift Founder, says, “Robo Wunderkind allows for play and experimentation in a very creative way that fits with our ethos. The robots are not prebuilt or just a building activity following predefined instructions, but instead the kit allows children’s imaginations to really take off and see what they can make and invent! Children can even make their own robot parts out of cardboard and other materials, which fits brilliantly with our creative and hands-on approach. Robo Wunderkind fosters exactly the sort of creative thinking that we try to encourage.”
We’re thrilled to have Robo Wunderkind kits at our after school clubs and in-person holiday camps, introducing children as young as five to technology, as well as developing their problem-solving, logical-thinking, mathematic and engineering skills, through fun and play.
