I've been fascinated by mathematics and music from an early age. I taught myself how to write programs when I first encountered a language called Max, used for creating realtime audio and visual software.I studied computer science at Goldsmiths university, where I learned how to transform equations and handwritten psuedo code to working programs in JavaScript and C++ as well as experiment with machine learning frameworks with Python.
I've been a keen pedagog throughout my degree, I began a music society, which is still active, for students to share skills and now, I am an associate lecturer in the Goldsmiths computing department.I am always happy when a student comes to me with a problem, It gives me an opportunity to understand how they think, I'm continually learning from them and I find joy in working through solutions together.I think it's important that bugs, either in code or elsewhere become exciting opportunities for exploration, reward and self confidence.
