If you need to reschedule a lesson for any reason, please give us at least 24 hours notice by either contacting your tutor or a member of our team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to move the session for you.
If your child is feeling unwell, we might be able to reschedule your lesson up to 2 hours before the lesson is supposed to start.
Missing a lesson
Please be aware that if you miss a lesson for any reason and do not give us at least 24 hours notice we will take this as a no-show and charge you the full rate of this session without an opportunity to reschedule, as we must compensate our tutors for their time.
What are the technical requirements?
We ask that every student has access to a laptop or computer with a high-speed internet connection, a webcam, a headset/earphones, and a microphone. Before your first session we will provide instructions on setting up our video conference software as well as any further information about relevant coding platforms and technical requirements for that particular session. Please be aware that if you would like Minecraft tuition, chromebooks are not suitable.
Do I have to book a package following my trial session?
You are under no obligation to book a package with us following a trial session if you do not want to continue your child's coding tuition with us.
However if you would like to continue we do ask that you purchase either a 5 or 10 session package. If you would like an amount of sessions outside of these packages, please get in contact with us at email@example.com. Typically, sessions outside of these standard packages come with a surcharge due to increased admin.
What if I don’t like the tutor allocated for my trial?
Your tutor is one of the most important aspect of your tutoring experience. Whilst all of our tutors are experienced and passionate, we understand that sometimes you might be looking for something different. If you don’t like your tutor after your trial session, just get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look at matching you with a different tutor that better fits your requirements.
Can I have group sessions online?
Yes. Please be aware that with each child added to a session we increase the price by 0.5. For example, a private tutor teaching our core curriculum would cost £50ph for one child and £75ph for two children. If you would like group tuition, please either book a consultation, fill out an enquiry form, or contact us directly at email@example.com
